Referral
ProTherapy® is a private, concierge-style mental health service.
We partner with professionals who need a safe, trusted place to refer adults, young people and families for high-quality psychological support.
When you refer to ProTherapy, we triage, match and support your client through the process so you don’t have to manage the logistics or search for a suitable therapist yourself.

We welcome referrals from:
• Psychiatrists & GPs (NHS and private)
• Clinical & counselling psychologists
• School leaders, pastoral teams & SENCOs
• Universities & student support services
• Family, employment & other solicitors / mediators
• Coaches (executive, life, performance, career)
• Occupational health & HR / Employee Assistance
• Charities, faith organisations & NGOs
• Other mental-health and wellbeing professionals
We also accept self-referrals from individuals and families seeking therapy.
When to refer to ProTherapy
You may wish to refer to ProTherapy when:
• You would like your client to access evidence-based psychotherapy with a carefully matched clinician.
• Your own practice is full or you do not provide ongoing therapy.
• Your client has complex, chronic or co-morbid difficulties and you want them seen by an experienced therapist.
• There are relational, family or co-parenting difficulties that need specialist input.
• A young person is struggling at school or university and requires external psychological support.
• You would like your client to be seen discreetly and promptly in a private setting, in person or online.
How our referral process works
Our process is designed to be simple and clinically thoughtful:
1. Refer
You complete a short referral form or contact us by email/phone with brief details of the client and your concerns.
2. Triage
A ProTherapy clinician reviews the referral, considers risk and complexity, and may contact you (and/or the client) for clarification.
3. Matching
We identify the most suitable therapist in our network based on clinical presentation, preference for online/in-person, language, availability and fee expectations.
4. Engagement & Feedback
With the client’s consent, we confirm whether they have engaged with therapy and can, if appropriate, maintain a simple feedback loop with the referrer.
We aim to provide timely first appointments, while prioritising safety and good clinical fit over speed alone.
